Ici, de juillet à septembre, vous aurez peut-être la chance d’apercevoir des baleines passant dans ces eaux avant de reprendre leur voyage vers les mers du Sud.

NOSY NATO

L’île aux Nattes est une petite île au sud de l’île Sainte-Marie, dont elle est séparée par un petit chenal. C’est une île tropicale classique, avec des plages de sable blanc incurvées et des palmiers en surplomb, une mer turquoise avec des vagues qui s’écrasent sur le récif corallien, une brise légère et un intérieur verdoyant.

THE MAKAY MASSIF

Le massif du Makay est situé au sud-ouest de l’île de Madagascar, à cheval sur les districts de Beroroha (dans la région Atsimo-Andrefana) et de Mahabo (dans le Menabe), sur la rive droite (nord) du fleuve Mangoky. Il s’étend sur 150 km du nord au sud avec une largeur maximale est-ouest de 40 km, sa surface plane atteint ainsi 4 000 km2.

ANJOHIBE

ANJOHIBE (région de Boina) est surtout connue pour ses grottes composées de salles communiquant entre elles sur environ 11 km. Il existe des stalagmites et des stalactites atteignant 10 m de haut. C’est le site spéléologique le plus important de Madagascar. Il y a aussi le lac d’Andranojoby (piscine naturelle) et plus loin des cascades de Mahafanina avec un dénivelé de 20 m. À côté, il y a une forêt où vous pouvez rencontrer des lémuriens (propithèque de Coquerel). Le site est accessible par 4×4 d’avril à novembre (63 km de Mahajanga).
